I’m Addicted!

 

"I started Women’s Boot camp Fitness in the middle of July 2012.With the persistence of my friend Jeni, who invited me numerous times, I always had an excuse not to go.
I thought that I was in pretty good shape, as I had just bought a new bicycle in May and joined a group of riders once a week for an hour long ride. So hey, I thought that I was getting enough exercise. Huh!

 

Little did I know after my first day of finally showing up for a class, how bad of shape that I was in….I couldn’t catch my breath, I felt sick to my stomach, I couldn’t run, I had no balance, no core strength, no upper body strength, no lower body strength…I was a mess to say the least. My first class was on a Friday, I didn’t move out of the chair the entire weekend, I was so sore. But, I got up on Monday and went to another class. I still felt the same as I did after the first class. TIRED and SORE.

 

"Joe asked me what my goals were. I told him that I would like to lose about 10 pounds and start getting in shape. He told me that when I was ready to commit, he would be there to help me.
So I decided that at age 49 with10 poundsto lose that it was time to start doing something about it. I could just see myself getting bigger and heavier as I got older. It was time to commit! I started going 3 days per week. Joe said “just be patient, in about 4 – 6 weeks you will start seeing results”, and sure enough I did! I was losing pounds right and left. After 6 weeks I was down those 10 pounds that I wanted to lose.

"Then there was the 90 DAY CHALLENGE that started in September.I got really serious about my nutrition and my boot camp workouts. I worked really hard and could see my body changing, as other people around me did too. My clothes never fit me again. I had to go shopping!

 

My results have been great. I have lost 23pounds and went from a size 8 to a size 2. I don’t even know how many pounds of fat that I lost or exactly how many inches. All I know is that I lost a lot of it!!!!

I feel great, I look great, and I feel so strong! Boot camp is the best thing that I have ever done for myself.
